This build comes in well under $3,000 and that is the finding, not an oversight. PlayStation licensing caps the base at 8 Nm, so past this point extra money buys rig and rim, not force feedback.

GT DD Pro

The only current direct drive route onto PlayStation, which is why it anchors every PlayStation build here. Licensing, not engineering, is what limits your options on that platform.

ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 Esports V2

A 270 mm rim, smaller than most GT wheels, which is the point: it moves faster in the hands on a formula car. Fanatec lists it as working with the Gran Turismo DD Pro, and it ships with the QR2 wheel side packaged separately. Not compatible with Xbox.

ClubSport Pedals V3

A 90 kg load cell brake in a CNC metal body. On console it only works routed through a Fanatec wheel base, never by USB, which is the wiring detail that catches people mid-build. Heavy enough that a desk clamp setup will slide it around without a proper plate.

GT1 EVO

Aluminium profile, so the mounting question changes from will it fit to which plate do I need. Sim-Lab publishes a per-part compatibility list rather than a vague claim, which is why this is the first cockpit here with a sourced mounting stamp. No seat, and no seat brackets either: both are add-ons, which is the cost people miss when comparing it to an all-in-one cockpit.
